Evites should have message boards on them. I think they're lame for not having that option.
The old Yahoo Invites had them. At the time, I still preferred Evite to Yahoo Invites. In a way, I think I may have been biased because Evite was around first and I tend to stick with what I've been using until there's a demonstrable reason to change. But the message boards is one of the Yahoo Invite features that I liked. And since the idea has been done (not that it takes a genius to think about it or implement it), Evite has certainly considered it, yes? Please don't tell me that's a patentable idea. That would be especially lame considering that Yahoo Invites isn't around anymore. Not that they can't maintain their patents even if their not using them. But doubly especially lame considering that Evite was around before Yahoo Invites. But maybe they didn't patent the whole Evite thing. Or maybe that's too general to patent, but message boards on Evites (or whatever the general term is) isn't.
Anyway, yeah, I want message boards on Evites. People do reply somewhat by changing their own reply messages. But that's not threaded and you can only have one message. And you "lose your place" when you change your reply. Not that it matters. :-) |
